Flat tires come through the door more than anything else at Estes Auto, and the shop has a way of fitting a stranded driver in. Alternators, brakes, radiators, diesel trouble and pickups are regular work, alongside oil changes, alignment, suspension, transmissions and electrical.

It runs as the Estes Park branch of Amina Auto Repair, which Mohamed started in 2004 after leaving a dealership job to offer an honest, independent alternative to chains and dealers. Kind staff is the thing people remember. RV repair and towing are on the list as well, useful in a town that fills with motorhomes every summer.

The shop sits on Dunraven Street, right next to Estes Park Auto and a few doors from Bob's Towing and Collision. Diesel and truck owners in particular speak well of it, and the quality of the repair gets mentioned as often as the speed. Appointments are recommended, so call before limping over.
