How it works

  1. Find your listing

Search the directory. Most businesses in the valley are already listed from public records and their own websites.

  2. Claim it, free

Send the form and a person confirms with you that it's your business. Then you can fix hours, add photos and your logo.

  3. Upgrade if you want

Verified, Featured and feature stories are optional. Your free listing stays free either way.

What every listing includes

  • Name, phone, website and address with a map (service businesses show where they're based)
  • Hours with an open-now status
  • Call, Directions and Visit website buttons
  • A description written for this site, not copied from yours
  • Your main category plus any others you belong in
  • Your Google rating and a link to your reviews
  • Your logo, when we can find a clean one
  • Claimed listings always appear in search, even with few reviews

Fair, and always labeled

Within a category, the Featured listing comes first, one per category, always labeled Featured. Verified listings come next, because a person has checked them. Then editors' picks, then everyone else by Google rating weighted by how many reviews it rests on, so a 4.8 with 300 reviews sits above a 5.0 with three.

Some things can't be bought. Editors' picks, our reviews and any future Best Of lists are chosen by the people who write this site, and paying for Verified or Featured doesn't earn one.

Send us your business

Add a business, fix a listing, claim yours, or ask about Verified, Featured or a feature story. A person reads every one.

Common questions

Is a listing on Estes Park Local really free?

Yes. The listing, claiming it and corrections are all free. You only pay if you choose Verified, Featured or a feature story.

My business is already listed. How did it get there?

Listings start from public business records and the business's own website. We list businesses that serve the Estes valley, so nobody has to sign up first.

My business is based in Loveland or Longmont. Can I be listed?

Yes, if your own website says you work in the valley. Your listing says where you're based so customers know you'll be driving up.

How long do new listings and changes take?

Within a week of hearing from you.

How do I fix a mistake on my listing?

Send it with the form. Corrections are free, whether or not you've claimed the listing, and they're made within a week. That includes seasonal closures and businesses that have closed for good.

Can I pay to rank higher?

Featured puts you first in one category, and it's always labeled Featured. Verified listings also sort above unverified ones, because a person has checked them. Editors' picks and reviews can't be bought.

What does Verified check?

A person calls your references, reads your last year of reviews in full, and confirms licensing and insurance where the trade requires it. The check is repeated every year, and if a business doesn't pass, the fee is refunded.
