South of town on St. Vrain Avenue, the Highway 7 stretch a little under two miles from downtown, Mountain View Bible Fellowship is a Bible-based church that opens Sunday with Sunday school and follows it with a worship service. Sermons stream live, and past ones are archived online for anyone who missed a week or is visiting for only one Sunday.
Adult Sunday school meets in the Fireside Room and has been working through Romans. There is a youth class for grades seven through twelve. Men meet early on Tuesdays, upstairs above the Fireside Room, to read Scripture, talk through how it applies and pray for one another. Bring a Bible.
The outreach fits Estes in a way most churches' doesn't: a ministry to the international employees who staff so much of town in season, a Halloween outreach downtown, and a fall festival in the church gym built around a chili cook-off, with prizes for the top three pots.
