Castle Cleaning & Oriental Rug Company

About

Since 1969, and in Berthoud since 1980, Castle has washed oriental and Navajo rugs by hand. It uses the Auserehlian Cleaning System, a compressed-air and submersion wash developed by Phil Auserehl and built around wool care. Rug cleaning is what people come for, and the helpful staff and the owner come up nearly as often.

Restoration and appraisals sit alongside sales. The showroom carries Oriental, Persian, Chinese, Turkish and Indian rugs plus imported wooden furniture, and it is open by appointment only, so call before making the drive down from Estes. The work is backed by a workmanship guarantee. Carpet restoration is offered too, and Estes Park is one of many Front Range towns on its service list.
