Out on Marys Lake Road, two miles from downtown and a short way past the lake, Dr. Amber Busche is the optometrist and owner behind Aspen Eyecare, which shares her address. She's from Iowa, earned her doctorate at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, and lives in the valley herself, out hiking when she isn't in the office.
The practice handles full eye care and eyewear, with new frame lines coming through the shop, and it takes everything from replacement nose pads to eye emergencies. Appointments are the way in here, so call before driving out. For a town this far from the Front Range, having that range of care up here saves a canyon trip.
