Kulenski Building Inc

About

"The Basement Finish Guy" is how Al Kulenski bills the business, and basements are what people hire it for. Finishes run from one extra room to a full build-out with a wet bar, home theater, exercise room, den or craft space, and in-law suites come up more than once.

Kitchens get anything from a countertop swap to a full remodel, and the company builds custom new homes, decks and patios. Al came up through a formal carpentry apprenticeship and later ran construction for a development firm before starting his own shop. People mention a courteous, skilled crew, clear communication, a straightforward bid and work that stays on schedule.

The base is Fort Collins, with Loveland and the rest of Northern Colorado as the usual territory, so anyone in the Estes valley should ask up front whether the drive up the canyon fits the job. His stated guarantee: client and builder are still friends when it's done.
