One Earth Landscape

About

James Zarka trained as a landscape architect at Michigan State and has been designing landscapes since 1978, and One Earth, his Boulder design-build company, still leans on that training. The work favors xeriscape, native plants and drought-tolerant layouts that keep thirsty bluegrass to a minimum, with boulders, water features, masonry, and low-voltage or fiber optic lighting on the build side.

Crews also install and repair sprinkler systems, handle spring and fall cleanups, mow, do excavation and plow snow in winter. The company works out of Boulder and mostly around Boulder County, with Estes Park on its service list, so expect a contractor coming up from the Front Range.
