About
Inside the Dollar General on Stanley Avenue, near the fairgrounds, FedEx keeps a drop-off and pickup counter. It is not a full shipping store: packages need to be sealed and labeled before they come through the door, and online-order returns work the same way. The size limits are 55 pounds and 48 by 25 by 25 inches.
The more useful trick for anyone staying in a rental is Hold at Location. Redirect a FedEx package to this counter and collect it with a tracking number and ID, rather than leaving it on a doorstep where the weather or the wildlife can get to it first. It keeps long hours seven days a week, Express and Ground both accepted.
