Larimer County - Vehicle Licensing Estes Park Office

About

The county's motor vehicle office for Estes Park, up on Brodie Avenue. Handy if you've just moved up the hill and need plates or a title sorted without driving down to Fort Collins. Plan ahead, because it runs on appointments.

This is the Larimer County Vehicle Licensing office at 1601 Brodie Ave. It handles registration and titles for Larimer County vehicles, and it's open Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, except holidays. You'll want to book a time through the county's online scheduler (larimer.gov/bookatime) before you show up. Walking in without one is a gamble.

My advice: check whether you need to come in at all. Plain renewals can generally be done online, at a county kiosk, or by mail, so save the trip for things that need paperwork, like a new title or a first-time Colorado registration. Bring everything on the county's checklist, since the worst feeling in the world is driving to a counter and finding out you're missing one form. If you need the number, it's (970) 577-2025. Call it before you go if your situation is unusual.
