The Reuben and the Italian are the sandwiches people name, and bagels and coffee carry the morning at this small shop on East Elkhorn, next to Hayley's Ice Cream. It's one of the newer counters downtown, with homemade desserts in the case and coffee that's worth the stop on its own.
Inside it's quieter than most of Elkhorn, and the room itself gets noticed, along with a welcoming cashier and barista. Prices are low, takeout is easy, and dogs are fine on the patio, which helps when you're walking downtown with one. Families and solo diners both fit, and the ice cream shop next door covers dessert if the case runs out.
