Garlic knots and a New York slice are what this place is known for, and the pies come out of a wood-fired oven on Big Thompson Avenue, about a mile and a half east of downtown toward Lake Estes. The menu goes past the New York standard into thin crust, a grandma pie and Detroit-style squares, with subs, wings and calzones alongside. Save room for a cannoli.

Then there are the robot servers, which plenty of people leave talking about, kids especially. Inside there's a fireplace and a full bar, and outside a patio where dogs are allowed. Online ordering gets heavy use, so it works as a pickup on the way back from the lake. La Cabaña Mexican Grill is next door.
