About

Mini golf is what most families remember, on the Cascade Creek course with the mountains behind it. Then come the go-karts, in classic gas and electric power-up versions, The electric karts are set up like a video game, the first of their kind in Colorado when they arrived. Add bumper boats, bumper cars, a miniature train, batting cages, water balloon battles and a trampoline.

It's out on Big Thompson Avenue about two miles from downtown, past Lake Estes, with two parking lots, an arcade and a snack stand for the breaks between rides. Active military get a discount, and the grounds are wheelchair accessible. Weddings and events book here too, and regulars can buy a membership.

In winter the outdoor rides slow down and the Trackman golf simulator keeps the doors open, which makes it one of the few things to do on a snowy afternoon. The same family has run it for three generations.
