The Lodge and Grove at Cheley Colorado Camps

Since 1927, Cheley Colorado Camps has run a summer camp on Fish Creek Road, after a short stint at Bear Lake inside the Park, and more than half a million young people have come through. The Lodge and Grove is the camp's newer side: a wedding and celebration site on the same grounds, backing up to Twin Sisters Mountain with Longs Peak, Mount Meeker and the Mummy Range in view.

Weddings run from mid-August to mid-October. The setup covers outdoor ceremonies, rehearsals, a catering kitchen and shuttle service, and the grounds also take smaller weddings, anniversary parties and corporate or conference events. Catering and vendor requirements apply, so ask for the list early. It is wheelchair accessible.

Plenty of couples who met here as campers come back to marry, often enough that camp has a word for it: Chomances. About four miles out of town and a mile and a half from Mary's Lake, it sits well away from Elkhorn traffic.
