The porch is the part people talk about. The Cabin at Braeside is a log-sided studio for two out on Highway 66, with one bathroom, a full kitchen and elk that come by often enough to get mentioned. The Beaver Meadows entrance is a bit under two miles away, and downtown is closer to three.
It is rented through Rocky Mountains Property Services, which runs the calendar, gallery and video tour, along with condos at Mary's Lake and a long list of other cabins. The host gets named almost as often as the porch. Small and warm is the whole idea, so a party of more than two belongs in one of the manager's bigger places.
