About
A professor of music named Rosborough built Mountain Hall in 1902 as a place for people to gather for conversation and performances. The great room still shows it: forty feet by twenty, with one-off lighting and furnishings, an enormous fireplace, a handmade wooden table for ten and a loft behind a hand-hewn log railing.
The bedrooms are small, by the listing's own admission. A king, a queen and a twin, two twins in the loft, and a sofa bed in the living room. One bath is on the main floor and the second is in the basement. The kitchen was recently redone with granite counters.
Out front, a forty-foot porch faces the mountains, with plenty of seating. It's on Silverwind Circle, under two miles from both Mary's Lake and the Beaver Meadows entrance, so the Park is a short drive.
