About

Out on US 36, about six and a half miles from downtown, this is a four-room Southwestern inn with antiques, Native American art and an outdoor hot tub. It's a bed and breakfast at heart, small and personal. Quiet is the word that comes up most, along with the view and a kind owner.

The King Suite has a private deck with a swing, a kiva fireplace and a two-person marble shower, with a vanity made from cottonwood taken off the property. Whispering Pines has two queens and a kiva fireplace, Kachina has a queen, an electric fireplace and mountain views, and the Dream Catcher Room has its own secluded patio.

Suites have little fridges, microwaves and coffee makers. Whispering Pines is a flight of stairs below the parking area, worth knowing with heavy bags. Staying this far out means a drive to the Park and to dinner, but a quiet one.
