A covered bridge is the way in, and the river under it is why most people come. Castle Mountain Lodge has 750 feet of stocked frontage on Fall River, close enough to the cottages that the fly rod can live by the door.
The cottages, suites and rooms run from one to three bedrooms under tall pines, and some are private spa cottages. The grounds hold a hot tub, a guest laundry and a disc golf course, and there's an ice cream social. A dog policy is posted, so read it before bringing one.
It's up Fall River Road, just under two miles from downtown and a few minutes' drive from both town and the Park. The lodge takes group bookings too.
