The river runs behind the property, and fishing it is on the list of things to do. Dogs are welcome. The location gets the credit: close enough to town to run in for dinner, far enough up the road to hear water instead of traffic.

Booking goes through the company's own site, which it pitches as the cheaper route. The Kleves also rent a condo at Ski Time Square in Steamboat Springs, handy for anyone splitting a Colorado trip between the two.
