Estes Park Rentals By Owner

About

Before Airbnb, people booked mountain rentals by calling someone, and this agency still works that way for anyone who wants it. Its vacation rental specialists pick up seven days a week, confirm availability, check the best price and offer alternatives when the first choice is taken.

The listings are built around sleeping arrangements, with each bedroom and bathroom spelled out next to big photos, maps and amenity lists. Inventory comes from individual homeowners and local property managers and runs from condos to executive and luxury homes, some with private hot tubs.

It is run by Mountain Vacation Lodging, LLC, a Colorado company led by founder Grey Schuhmacher, from an address on Spring Street under a mile from Mary's Lake. The same company lists rentals in a long string of other mountain towns, Grand Lake among them, and homeowners can list with it too.
