About
The walnut bar tops at the Stanley's Onyx Whiskey Bar and at Bird and Jim came out of this shop. Kent Hamel, Mark Rodgers and Josh Weaver spent more than 25 years doing interior trim for custom homes under Hamel Construction before they opened a showroom of their own on Big Thompson Avenue, next to Lake View Storage on the way out toward the lake.
Inside are door styles, stains and paint samples from KraftMaid, Merillat and Plato, plus the custom work: islands, wet bars, wood countertops, tables, barn doors and bookcases that swing open onto hidden rooms. Temperature-controlled wine cabinets are on the list too, and custom inserts that make a kitchen's drawers and corners actually useful.
If nothing in the catalog fits the kitchen, they build it to spec. The team also puts together a 3D walk-through of the proposed kitchen or bath at no charge, so changes happen on the screen and not after the boxes arrive.
