Midtown Chimney Sweeps

About

Before the first real cold snap is when a chimney should get looked at, and this Boulder sweep makes the trip up to Estes Park, along with Nederland and Louisville. It's an independently owned franchise, licensed and insured. The core job is sweeping chimneys and flues, and repairs reach into crowns, masonry, liners and leaks.

Gas fireplace installs are a big share of the work, alongside sweeping, inspections, cap and crown replacement and sealing. Wood and pellet stoves get installed too. Smaller jobs include downdraft repair, smoke chamber cleaning, chimney fans, rain caps, dryer vents and evicting animals that moved into the flue. Heatshield and damper repair are on the list, and commercial BBQ smokers and pizza ovens get cleaned too.

The crews come across as knowledgeable and patient about explaining what they found, and they leave behind maintenance advice worth keeping. Visits are by appointment only. Book with some lead time, since the truck is coming up from Boulder.
