Walk-in vaccines are a big part of the work: flu, COVID-19, shingles, RSV, pneumonia, back-to-school shots, and travel shots like Japanese encephalitis and cholera. Pet prescriptions, blood pressure checks, diabetes consultations and medication disposal are handled at the same counter, and prescriptions can be managed in the Safeway app. The pharmacy shuts for a short lunch break each day, so don't time a pickup for the middle of the day.
