Siding & Exterior in Estes Park
Siding takes a beating in Estes Park. Strong sun, big temperature swings and hail all work on the outside of a mountain house, and cabin siding that looked fine a decade ago may be checking, fading or letting in water. Of the 7 siding and exterior contractors listed, just 1 is based in the valley, so most estimates start with a call to the Front Range.
Marcus's take
Siding is a job where the prep matters more than the product. Get the removal, flashing and trim written into the quote, and ask who stands behind the warranty when the crew lives down the hill.

What to know
Siding is a small category here. Seven companies are listed, and A. David Construction is the only one with an Estes Park base. The other six work from Loveland, Longmont and elsewhere along the Front Range, which means a drive up the canyon or through Lyons for the estimator and again for the crew. Ask early whether the company works in the mountains regularly and whether travel is built into the quote.
Most of these firms are exterior companies that sell siding along with roofing, windows and gutters. WestPro Home Exteriors installs James Hardie siding and handles hail and insurance claims. Valcore Construction specializes in hail-resistant siding and lists warranties up to 50 years, so ask what the warranty covers. Window & Siding Outlet carries James Hardie and LP SmartSide alongside vinyl and wood. Precision Plastering Stucco covers stucco, EIFS and veneer, including cracked finishes and woodpecker holes.
Five of the 7 list residential work and 5 list commercial. Four offer free estimates, 1 is marked licensed and 1 lists financing. Ask each company what the quote covers, including removal of old siding, trim, flashing and cleanup. Summer is the busy season and winters are long and cold, so ask when the job could realistically be scheduled.
Are there siding contractors based in Estes Park?
Yes, one. A. David Construction LLC is based in town and installs any type of siding. The other six listed work from Loveland, Longmont and other Front Range towns, so expect the crew to travel up for the job.
Who repairs hail damage on siding?
WestPro Home Exteriors and Valcore Construction both list hail work, and WestPro says insurance claims are a regular part of its jobs. Valcore specializes in hail-resistant siding. Both are Front Range companies, so confirm they will work at your address.
Do siding companies give free estimates?
Four of the 7 list free estimates, including WestPro Home Exteriors, Valcore Construction and Denny's Roofing. Window & Siding Outlet also advertises free project estimates. Ask what the estimate includes before you compare numbers.
Can the same company do siding and roofing?
Often. Rhino Exteriors, Denny's Roofing and WestPro Home Exteriors handle both, along with gutters and windows. Doing the exterior in one project means one crew and one schedule, though in a short mountain building season it is worth asking how soon each trade can start.
