Solar in Estes Park
Solar in Estes Park is a roofer's business more than a specialist's, and the three companies listed show it. Weddle and Sons has an Estes Park office and a Fort Collins office, and Denny's Roofing in Longmont lists solar installation among its roofing, siding and window work. Only one of the three is based in the valley.
Marcus's take
Three listings is a short list, so I would call all three. Ask each about the roof first, the panels second, and who services the system when something goes wrong. Pick the company you can actually reach by phone in February.

Weddle and Sons Roofing of Fort Collins
Roof replacement is most of what people hire this Fort Collins roofer for, and the follow-through gets the credit: quick responses, attention to detail, shingle samples brought out, and no push to buy more than the roof needs. The Fort Collins branch covers Loveland, Boulder, Greeley, Windsor and nearby towns, and the company also keeps an Estes Park office.

What to know
Weddle and Sons Roofing of Estes Park, a family owned business, lists solar panels and Tesla Solar Roof installation. Its Fort Collins counterpart describes itself as a certified solar roof installer working with Tesla Solar Roof and Powerwall. Both also list roof repair, replacement and gutters, so solar often arrives as part of a roof project.
Denny's Roofing lists solar installation next to shingle, metal and flat roofs, and it is the one listing tagged for financing available. Its description names Denver and Boulder-area towns rather than Estes Park, so ask whether it travels. Two of the three offer free estimates, and two list residential and commercial work.
Roofing and solar travel together for a practical reason: panels go on a roof, so a roof near the end of its life changes the order of the job. Ask for a roof assessment first, ask how the system handles snow, and with only three listings, get more than one quote. Ask each company what it would do first, who handles permits and how long a project usually takes. Also ask who services the system after install and how to reach them when it matters.
Are there solar installers in Estes Park?
One is based in town: Weddle and Sons Roofing of Estes Park, which lists solar panels and Tesla Solar Roof installation. Two others, Weddle and Sons of Fort Collins and Denny's Roofing of Longmont, also list solar and work from the Front Range.
Who installs Tesla Solar Roof or Powerwall in Estes Park?
Both Weddle and Sons offices list Tesla Solar Roof. The Fort Collins office also names Powerwall and describes itself as a certified solar roof installer. The Estes Park office lists Tesla Solar Roof installation, so ask it directly about Powerwall.
Is solar financing available?
Denny's Roofing is the one listing tagged for financing available. The others do not say, so ask Weddle and Sons how payment works. Free estimates are tagged on two of the three, including Denny's.
Do I need a new roof before going solar?
The listings do not say. Since panels sit on the roof, the roof's condition matters to the job. Weddle and Sons and Denny's both list roof inspections, so ask for a roof assessment before you commit to panels.
