Serafin Tree Service

About

A tree leaning toward the roof, or a pine that looks wrong after a dry summer, is the kind of call Joel Serafin takes. He is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist and Tree Climber Specialist, and his specialty is pruning by rope access climbing, with the health of the tree as the priority.

He also holds the ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification, which covers risk assessments, cabling and bracing, and risk reduction pruning. Removals and precision felling in mountain terrain, stump grinding, planting and transplanting are on the list, as is consultation on mountain pine beetle, dwarf mistletoe and emerald ash borer. Live edge lumber is offered too, and the business is licensed and insured.

He is based in Ward, so this is an arborist who comes over to Estes Park and Allenspark, both named in a service area that covers Boulder and Gilpin counties. Punctuality, clear communication and fair prices come up most, along with the cleanup: trees trimmed properly and the wood stacked when the job is done.
