A smash cake for a first birthday, a tiered buttercream for a small wedding: this Fort Collins cottage bakery works by appointment only and makes every cake to order. The look is vintage, with Lambeth piping, buttercream florals and custom heart cakes, and the frosting is the house signature. What sticks with people is how moist the cake was, how good it looked on the table, and how easy the ordering and paying went.

Orders start with the request form on the website or a text. Allow at least two weeks for a custom cake and six to eight weeks for weddings and the larger vintage designs, since each month is capped. Estes Park is in the delivery area, and delivery is the better route for anything tiered coming up the canyon. Tastings are offered to wedding clients.
