On East Elkhorn at Bond Park, a few doors from Wheel Bar, this candy and ice cream shop makes its scoops in small batches right in the store, more than 40 flavors of them. Huckleberry is the one people single out. Salted caramel Oreo and rocky road have their own fans, and sorbet, sherbet, nonfat yogurt and an espresso shake round it out.

Fudge is the other half of the business, made in house with real butter, sold next to caramel corn, saltwater taffy, chocolates and elk jerky. The espresso bar pulls Boulder Organic Coffee for lattes and affogatos. The counter crew is friendly and quick, which matters on a summer evening, and the Riverwalk is a short stroll away for eating it.
