Jerky gets as much shelf space as candy here, and the range of flavors is the reason to stop. The shop is on West Elkhorn at the downtown end of the street, steps from Estes Village and Lonigans, so it is easy to fold into a walk along the strip.
The candy side is broad, with plenty of treats for kids to pick through, and the staff are friendly and polite about letting people take their time. It is a quick stop, and a sensible one before a long day on Trail Ridge or the drive back down the canyon, when a bag of jerky beats anything at a gas station. It stays open into the evening, so it works as an after-dinner stop too.
