About

If the Park map in your hand isn't making sense, the topographical relief map here will. The rangers are the real asset: they hand out trail recommendations and stamp national park passports. A short film covers the basics, and there are restrooms, free Wi-Fi and a gift shop that does steady business in souvenirs. The building sits on US 36 about two miles out of town, short of the Beaver Meadows entrance, and its architecture gets a second look. Open 9 to 6, wheelchair accessible.
