About
Once the snow comes, this is where people go sledding. Hidden Valley is a former ski area inside Rocky Mountain National Park, a few miles past the Fall River and Beaver Meadows entrances. Sledding is the main event now, along with snowshoeing and a warming hut, with rangers on hand and clean bathrooms, which counts for a lot in January. In summer it turns into a picnic ground and an easy hike, with elk around and the occasional moose. It's wheelchair accessible.
