Longs Peak Masonic Lodge #197, A.F. & A.M., spends its summers here. The Estes Park Masonic Center sits on South St. Vrain Avenue, about two miles from downtown, on the stretch that becomes Highway 7 heading south toward Allenspark. The lodge meets twice a month, May through August.
This is a working fraternal lodge, not a visitor attraction, so there is nothing to tour on a whim and no posted schedule beyond the meetings. Members and visiting Masons passing through Estes in summer are the ones with a reason to stop in. The building is wheelchair accessible for members who need it, and the rest of the year it sits quiet.
