Weddings are the main use: receptions, small ceremonies and welcome parties the night before. A food tasting is part of the planning, and the staff come across as responsive and flexible when plans change. The mood is relaxed rather than formal, which suits a crowd that would rather talk than sit through a program. Having the venue, kitchen and bar under one team means one contact instead of three.
It shares the High Drive address with Bird's Nest and sits next to Scratch Deli & Bakery, about a mile and a half from downtown. The space is wheelchair accessible, and it stays open late enough that a reception doesn't have to wrap early.
