About
Every July the Estes Park Events Complex, a mile from downtown near Lake Estes, turns into the Rooftop Rodeo, billed as the highest rodeo in the country. Pro contestants match up against Cervi Championship Rodeo stock for prize money, and the week brings a parade, mutton bustin for small riders, a Cash Catch and Behind the Chutes sessions. The grandstand is covered with good sightlines, there is often a band, and the grounds are wheelchair accessible. The 99th runs July 5 to 10, 2027, and tickets go on sale in November.
