On a wet summer afternoon, eight lanes of bowling, a room of arcade games and pool tables go a long way. The Bull Pin is on South St. Vrain by the fairgrounds, about a mile from downtown, and lanes can be reserved online to skip the wait. Kids get the arcade, which pays out tickets for prizes.
It's a scratch kitchen, and the wings are the order people come back for, with mac and cheese and burgers behind them. Gluten-free and vegan options exist. The bar pours local beer, and big TVs plus a projector make it the place to catch a game. There's trivia some nights, and the bar also pours wine and cocktails.
The patio is covered and looks out toward Lake Estes. Dogs are welcome, the place is wheelchair accessible, it hosts birthday parties, and active military get a discount. Rehearsal dinners, corporate gatherings and holiday parties book the space too.
