Stanley Park-Special Events

About

This is the Estes Park Events Complex at Stanley Park, where the big town events happen: rodeo, wool market, elk festival, and more. Check the schedule before you go, because it's either packed or empty.

The Estes Park Events Complex is at 1125 Rooftop Way, on the Stanley Park side of town. It has indoor and outdoor event space and equestrian facilities, including the Event Center, Grandstands, a pavilion, and Barn W. The town hosts large annual events here, including the Rooftop Rodeo, the Estes Park Wool Market, the Elk Festival, and the First Peoples Festival. A concession operator handles food and drink at events.

It's not a park you wander into on a quiet day. It's a working venue, so what you find depends on what's scheduled. Check eventsinestes.com first, and look at the Town of Estes Park website for parking.

Honestly, on event weekends I'd arrive early and expect traffic around Stanley Park. On non-event days, there's not much to see, so I'd skip it and head for the Riverwalk or the bike park nearby. If you're bringing a horse or livestock, call the number on the site.
