Bruce, the naturalist behind Tour Estes Park, has lived in the area for more than 50 years, and every tour is private. Half day or full day, each one starts with a conversation about what the group actually wants to see. Group, custom and fall tours are on the list, and the guide gives home tours and guest talks as well.

Wildlife is what most people come back talking about: elk, sometimes a moose, and a guide who explains what's in front of them. History gets real time too, from homesteaders and lodge keepers to the Arapaho, Cheyenne and Ute. Sunrise tours are offered for the early animal hours.

The van is comfortable and stays warm and dry when afternoon weather rolls in. Hike a little or just ride and stop for pictures. And somebody else deals with the mountain driving and the Park's timed-entry reservations. Snowshoe outings are offered once the season turns.
