Pottery class is why most people find Bear & Bee, and the wheel is the part they talk about afterward. The makers' studio and boutique on Big Thompson Avenue runs an Art Bar where walk-ins can try a project in one of several media, and candle making, wood burning and suncatchers all have their fans.

Workshops, artist demos and special events fill the calendar, and the boutique side sells handmade gifts. The space is a good-looking one, run by people who are plainly nice humans, and it is openly welcoming to LGBTQ and trans visitors. It shares a building with Rocky Mountain Deli and the Time Emporium escape rooms, a short walk from the Visitor Center. Check the schedule before going, since the doors are not open every day.
