Colorado Games Company is on East Elkhorn near the Riverwalk, next to Rocky Mountain Gifts and a few steps from Kind Coffee. Chess sets and cribbage boards sit alongside family board games and travel games.
The owners and staff are friendly, and that comes up almost as often as the shelves. It's a smart stop before a rainy afternoon at the rental, and small enough for a quick visit between other errands. A cribbage board makes a better souvenir than another sweatshirt, and it packs flat.
