Caramel apples are the thing to get here, whole or sliced, and the fudge and toffee come right behind. This is a national chain, so the boxed assortments, truffles and Mountain-Sized candies will look familiar from other towns. A few oddities, like chocolate-covered Twinkies and sea salt caramel bites, liven up the case, and the marshmallows get dipped too.

There is a real sugar-free section, which is rarer than it should be in a candy town. The shop is on Big Thompson Avenue, in the same building as the Art Center of Estes Park and a short walk from the Visitor Center. Cocoa and gift baskets are on hand for anyone who needs a present for the host.
