Cowboy hats are the reason to come in, and the staff will fit one properly rather than hand over a size and hope. Boots, moccasins, western wear and accessories fill the rest of the shop on Moraine Avenue, a few doors from Pines & Cones Ice Cream and the Historic Park Theatre, just off the corner with Elkhorn.

The help is what people bring up most, friendly and in no hurry. Selection is the other thing, across boots, shoes and hats, so it's worth trying a few on. Western wear runs from hats down to accessories, and the cowboy look is the whole point. It stays open into the evening, which makes it an easy stop after dinner downtown.
