Drivetrains and cassettes are the repairs that come up most at Bandit's Bikes, a road, mountain and e-bike shop on Moraine Avenue next to Scots Sporting Goods, about a mile and a half from downtown toward the Park. It sells bikes too, and the stated aim is to build up cycling in the valley.

The owner is the reason it feels like a real local bike shop rather than a rental counter. The mechanic work and general bike care get credit, and road riders in particular leave well looked after. Shop hours are short and shift through the week, so check before riding over. Wildflower Bakery and Cafe is close by for waiting out a repair.
