The 19 rustic cabins line the Big Thompson on Moraine Avenue, a little over a mile from downtown, on a 12-acre property that feels more tucked away than the address suggests. Each has a kitchen and a fireplace, and elk wander through now and then.
Dogs are welcome. The grounds have mini-golf and a trout pond, so kids have something to do between Park days, and the same resort group runs an RV park and lodge along the river. The fireplaces earn their keep on cold nights. Booking is online or by phone, and the staff are friendly about questions.
