Out on Marys Lake Road, about a mile and a half from downtown, Spruce Lake is an RV park built around its pond. The fishing pond and the mini golf course are what people bring up first, followed by the mountain views and a hot tub for the end of the day. Sites come with full hookups, pets are allowed, and Mary's Lake is a short drive up the road.
It is open ground rather than forest, so don't count on much shade, and a few sites run a little off level. Elk show up in camp now and then. Read the deposit policy closely before booking, since that is the one thing that catches people out.
