Three miles from downtown on Dripping Springs Lane, right on the Big Thompson, the Woolly Bugger Inn rents tiny homes, cabins, duplexes and suites on five acres of canyon. Some of the cabins have been putting up Park visitors for over a hundred years, and they are kept simple on purpose. Guests get a private quarter-mile of river to fish.
Hot tubs are what people mention most, several of them private, followed by the fire pits, the hammocks and falling asleep to the sound of the river. Elk drift through, the hosts are friendly, and it sits right beside Aspen Glen at Dripping Springs. The Beaver Meadows and Fall River entrances are about ten minutes away.
