Among the YMCA of the Rockies cabins and lodges, about two miles from the Beaver Meadows entrance, Emerald Mountain Lodge is mostly about location. It's quiet, the beds are comfortable and the staff are friendly. Elk pass through, there's mini golf to keep kids busy, and families with children do well here. The setting gets as much credit as anything inside.
