Plenty of people know this place from a wedding first. Taharaa Mountain Lodge is an 18-room bed and breakfast at the foot of Lily Mountain on South St. Vrain, about three miles south of downtown and under a mile past Mary's Lake, and it shares its grounds with Twin Owls Steakhouse, so steaks, wild game and seafood are steps from the room. Balcony rooms look out over the valley, breakfast is included, and an outdoor hot tub and spa cover the rest. Elk turn up now and then.
