About

Three cabins, each with its own name and its own idea of a weekend. This Mountain Life rents them on East Riverside Drive, about a quarter mile from downtown, in the stretch between Little Prospect Mountain and the Big Thompson River.

Redemption Cabin is a restored log cabin built in 1914, with two bedrooms, one bath and room for four. Exploration Cabin sits on the bank of the Big Thompson with the same two-bedroom, sleeps-four layout. Reflection Cabin is the fireside one, pitched at couples and close enough to walk downtown for dinner.

Booking is direct, and monthly stays are on offer. The site also walks through Rocky Mountain National Park timed-entry reservations, worth reading before any summer trip. The cabins are a short walk from the Riverwalk and the downtown restaurants, and there is an art studio just down the street if a rainy afternoon needs filling. Summer dates are the ones to lock in first.
