Cris Maguire grew up around homebuilding and high-end interiors in Vail and spent much of her design career there before taking on clients in Estes Park and along the Front Range. Still Life Interiors is her practice, and she has more than sixteen years of remodels and new builds behind it.
Kitchens are what clients talk about afterward, along with how closely she listens. The job is full service: layout and interior architecture, then the long list of specifications, from hardware, fixtures, tile and flooring to cabinetry, lighting, furnishings and accessories, with project management carrying it through the build.
Bathrooms, bedrooms, dining and living rooms get the same treatment, and home staging is available for a house about to be listed. She also works pieces a client already owns into the new design, which matters when the old furniture is staying. Staging and office design are also part of the practice, and the process starts with a conversation about how the house actually gets used.
