On Stanley Avenue, a few blocks from the Visitor Center, UCHealth's primary care clinic sits in a medical building alongside several of its own doctors and Elk Ridge Dentistry. No referral is needed to see a provider, and walk-ins are welcome next to booked visits.
Caring doctors come up more than anything else, along with staff who take the time to explain a problem and keep medications straight. Appointments can be booked online, in person or as a virtual visit, through the UCHealth portal, which also handles messages, test results and refills. Walk-ins work, but booking ahead is the safer bet in the busy months, when the town fills with visitors.
