Architects, interior designers and builders share one studio at Forge & Bow Dwellings in Old Town Fort Collins, so the people who draw the plans are the people who build them. Jordan and Annie Obermann, husband and wife, run the firm, and it takes on a small number of projects each year by design.
The work is custom homes, whole-house renovations, additions and pop-tops, accessory dwellings, barn conversions and historic restorations, plus kitchens, baths, basements and decks. Renovation is what most clients come for. Communication is the other theme, along with a project manager who keeps the budget in hand and design work that carries all the way down to cabinets, floors and appliances.
The service area runs from Longmont to the Wyoming line, and Estes Park is named on it. This is a Fort Collins firm that comes up the canyon, not a local one, so expect site visits to be planned around that drive.
